Gregory M. Schroeder has produced independent short films and spec commercials with his company, First Light Productions LLC, since 2016. Short films A LITTLE BIT OF TIME (2017), COMING TO TERMS (2018) THIS IS STANDARD PRACTICE (2018), WHAT'S FUNNY? (2019), RUSSIAN ROULETTE (2019), and THE CHILDREN (2020) have screened at film festivals nationwide. In 2020, Gregory produced the short film LIKE FLYING, which will premiere at the Nashville Film Festival in an Academy-qualifying competition.
Gregory completed his MFA in Producing from AFI Conservatory in 2019, where he produced 2 thesis films. The first of these, PROGENY, has won over 20 awards and is screening at Fantasia and Sitges in 2020. The second, WITCHIN', has been nominated for multiple awards and will screen at LA Shorts in 2020.
